Facilitation is something that we believe can go hand in hand with consultation and research but may also be required as its own service.

We feel that in certain professional environments such as staff conferences, where young people facilitate group discussion, they can inform others of how young people think and it usually changes the professionals' approach to dealing with young people.

A good example of this is Leicester City Council's staff conferences where each table has a youth facilitator that effectively chairs each table and gives a young person's view on any topics that are being discussed from mental health to youth centres. The feedback from these events have always been incredibly positive and rather eye-opening for many of the professionals seated around the tables.
